The Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s (IHI) 28th annual conference was held in Orlando in 2016. About 6000 attendees were in attendance providing exceptional opportunities to network with a wide range of healthcare professionals who share a passion for the patient experience and improving healthcare outcomes.

Now that the dust has settled after what is generally a busy holiday season, and a new year is here, we can take some time to reflect on the experiences and interactions that came from the conference.

The theme of the conference was “Strategize,” one that we back wholeheartedly. Strategize is exactly what we do with the healthcare teams we work with. By gathering information to thoroughly understand our clients’ unique situations, working together to come up with desired measurable outcomes and then creating and implementing strategies and tactics designed to achieve those results we’re able to transform data into action.

We exhibited at the conference and had a number of wonderful interactions with current and potential clients who shared both their challenges and their achievements with us. There’s a lot of innovation taking place in healthcare in a variety of ways.
